I've been to a lot of restaurants, both the USA and abroad. Rather picky about quality and am used to being frugal, so bang-for-your-buck is important to me.
Long story short: do yourself a favor, try what I consider my favorite overall burgers in Madison. Better yet check out the Classic Combo I referenced here and you have one of the best deals burger deals on door dash, especially if you have a 25% or 30% off coupon. Cheeseburger, and generous portions of fries and organic juice, for less then $12 without any coupon, or $14.60 if you make it a double cheeseburger.
Mooyah's most similar competitor is probably Five Guys, both feature fresh food with tons of free toppings. Mooyah has a significant number of delicious options that Five Guys doesn't have; most notably Mooyah's in house sauce (free), green Chile queso, avocado spread, and the fried onions (free) are all SUPER delicious and the burger is one of the best I've ever had at ANY restaurant and it's for sure my favorite around here.
The price of the combo, if u make it a double is around $14.60. Five Guys charges that much just for a smaller double cheeseburger, no fries, no drink. Five guys only sells the fries separately, no combo deal, and it ranges from $7-$9 depending on the size. Add a few dollars for a soda (that uses a process in which only costs the restaurant mere cents per cup).
Their beef tastes like it's either organic or grassed, and if you told me the sauce was invented by God himself I would believe you.
The fries are an impressive top 5 in Madison, it's similar to five guys except Five Guys their fries can end up overly salty at times.
Delivery containers keep it fresher than completion and made it easy for me to warm up in the air fryer (just take the lid off, the bottom is fine as long as u only set it for say 3 minutes).
I wanna mention, you really shouldn't ever bother with "the really fast food" restaurants as DoorDash really piles on their invisible tax on each item. Makes them the same price as Mooyah but quality is not even comparable. McDonalds, Burger King, Arby's, Taco Bell all have mobile ordering apps with generous coupons if you need to save more money.
