I love Mrs. Winston's! Their claim that they have the best salads in LA is absolutely accurate. I also love that you can build your own healthy sandwich. Their lunch boxes include great little sides especially the vegan chocolate mousse. Don't forget to add on the Alternative Baking Company Vegan Cookies...my all-time health food store fave!

I adore Mrs. Winston's and it is my go to lunch spot. Today was the first time that I had an issue which is the reason for the four stars. I did not receive the side of coleslaw with my sandwich.

I always cringe when I read that a place is "Best" anything, especially in L.A. Too many people and places are legends in their own minds, however, I'm old as dirt, and I've eaten thousands of salads but very few as good as the Southwest Chicken Chipotle Salad. I took the first bite, and my eyebrows almost flew off my head. This is an L.A., maybe even a New York (I'm a snobby native,) Best. I loved the tender chicken, flavorful mix of ingredients, and the great dressing (I had them toss it, but I want to experience it so I might have the extra on the side next time.) I'm having it again tomorrow, then I'm gonna work my way through all the others!
