EST. 1993 Established in 1993, Mumbai House has since been an iconic restaurant destination in Utah. Eating at Mumbai House is about much more than just food. It is a complete cultural submersion for …
The last few times I got the medium spice- it was very mild/no spice. I like spice- just not so much that it's the only thing I can taste.
I went with hot this time- but it was REALLY spicy. Even with the Cucumber Raita (V) (which I HIGHLY recommend) it was still borderline too spicy.
I got the Shrimp Coconut Kurma which I usually get with chicken or the vegetarian- so maybe it's just the shrimp that I'd be careful on spice. Less is more.
The VEGETABLE PAKORA (V) was perfect. The sauces are chefs kiss!
As always- this is a God Tier Restaurant though. Top marks.

Mumbai Chicken Masala (NEW) (D) was very tender and had great flavors. At first I thought it was kind of small for what I paid for, BUT it's very filling and I barely ate a bit of it and had lots left over. It was piping hot considering it took 30-40 minutes to arrive. It's a bit out of my budget to order again, but I'd for sure recommend this to anyone interested.

First time eating here since the name change. Sauces were more watery than before in all dishes including the little cups for the apps. Chicken Tikka was a bit dry. White rice was a bit under cooked and crunchy. Got 2 VEGETABLE SAMOSA (G) (V) instead of the 3 we got before. Naan (G)(V) was just 1 bread instead of 2 like before.
Other that that the food was good and the portions seemed equivalent to before. We always loved Bombay House above any and all "competition," and never had a bad experience or a bad dish. Now it's just as good as the competition. Can't complain about that really.
Moment of silence for the Bombay House of memory though. What a delight.

Selling such extremely small portions is really dishonest at this price range, half a naan for $5 dollars is really low ball for the mid quality, save your money and order from Himalayan Kitchen 1/10 never will order again

The food is really good. All the flavor and taste was really good. I paid $20 for the Chicken Coconut Kurma that was delicious but, almost nothing of chicken compare to the price that I paid and. I could count how many pieces was inside of the pot... still really good but if you improve 35% the protein in it will be better.
