When you get a craving for the best hot dog in Boulder (and Denver too) you can't go wrong with Mustard's Last Stand. Don't go anywhere else, honestly. The dogs are perfect ... toppings as you want them. French Fries are to die for .. they are more than the best.

BEST FRIES IN TOWN. Of course they have the best hot dogs; that's what they do. Everyone has fries, but these - their Homemade Fries - really show this place for the beacon of quality that it is, and how thoroughly it has earned its place as a Boulder institution.
To any confused East Coasters looking for something like a basic NYC style hot dog, the Chicago Style Hot Dog is similar, except the bun has poppy seeds, and some topping options are different, but the ones you want are probably there :) (This is the one I always order. I like em pretty simple, just mustard and sauerkraut. Having grown up just outside of NYC myself: These absolutely hit the spot. ♡_♡)
lastly, I've never regretted adding a Whole Pickle to my order. (it is a full-sour Dill.)
May Mustard's last stand continue for generations to come!

I am a hotdog fanatic. They are my favorite food and Mustards Last Stand did them justice. The Chicago Style Hot Dog was packed with flavor. All of the toppings go together amazingly. The bun was very soft and the ingredientsadded a nice crunch and punch of flavor. Each bite had a bit of everything without being too hard to eat. Some places make them impossible to eat but this is the perfect size and the beat amount of toppings.
The Homemade Fries werent very crunchy but not in a bad way. The potato flavor is very prevelent in a good way. They were the perfect side dish :))

been wanting to try these guys for awhile. pretty disappointed. hot dog skin was SO chewy I had to spit it out. hot dog was small and not worth the price.

Definitely not worth my money. I am guessing it was my mistake or the apps but I got a totally plain burger. That in itself wouldnt be too bad but the burger was tiny. The only reason I didn't give it a 1 star was the patty was actually good, just tiny.
