• DoorDash orderThe Beef Brisket Sandwich has SO MUCH MEAT!!! and the coleslaw and cornbread are really good too. The potato salad is more Amish style (mustard and vinegar) than I would like, but it's really well made and flavorful so if you like that style its a great pick. New fave barbecue place for sure.

• DoorDash orderAs a southern cook and transplant I was glad to finally find an option near Germantown. Three stars because everything was cooked well but bland, the 5pc Whole wings still had a few actual feathers and shafts sticking out, and the Veggie Plate didn't match the picture with the mac&cheese in the large section which was the main reason I ordered it. Also ,the mac wasn't casserole style like the picture it was just noodles and cheese chunks. The banana Strawberry Banana pudding tasted synthetic not from scratch, like powdered pudding mix and red dye syrup. Gravy tasted synthetic too. The yams were the best, Chocolate cake was decent, cabbage tasted like water but cooked fine. Overall, the quality is better than Popeye's but not quite homemade southern soul food from scratch. It's somewhere in the middle. If you have a craving, no time to cook, and your own seasonings to doctor it up like I did it could suffice. There's potential here.

• DoorDash orderThe wings and hush puppies were so good! The skin on the wings was perfect and the hot honey flavor was delicious. The hot honey chicken sandwich was okay. The sauce that came on the side to pour on was vinegary and didn't taste the same as the wings, even though they were both hot honey. The mac and cheese is also delicious. I've also gotten their catfish sandwich before and it's SO good!

• DoorDash orderThe 3 piece catfish dinner is going to be my go to order from this spot. The fish is seasoned and cooked just right with a piece of white bread on the side. And the the collard greens were amazing! My other side was the potato salad. I tried to eat it all in one sitting but it was enough for 2 days.

• DoorDash orderThese folks are fry masters - crispy and perfectly cooked and not greasy. I would have liked more pronounced flavor on the Lemon Pepper 3pc whole wings , gravy on the rice, and Banana Pudding (16oz). The collard greens, and Catfish & Shrimp Combo were spot on. I would definitely order again. I want to try their BBQ!
