My family absolutely LOVES My Father's BBQ (MFBBQ)!
It was eight years ago when I discovered MFBBQ. They were a new business in our local shopping center. Their sign caught my eye so I decided to give them a try. I was going to visit my daughter's family and some friends, so I ordered an assortment of everything on the menu. It was a HUGH hit!
Two weeks later, my daughter and I went out of town for seven days, so my son-in-law was on his own. When we returned, he confessed that he ordered MFBBQ for dinner, four nights in a row!

The BBQ Chicken (small) consisted of a leg and thigh. My food was cold and the chicken was overcooked. The greens and cabbage were too salty. My Texas Toast was cold. I ordered in the past and give that occasion 5 stars. Not this time, however.

the food is delicious!! but the prices are a over kill for me. takes a while to receive the food (in person and online). I've been there waiting 1 whole hour before. I get this less then once a year due to the prices. the prices now are threw the roof! I simply cannot afford it. you don't even get alot of food for the amount your paying. the owners and workers there are so nice!!!! I used to come here once every two months (back when a plate was less then 20$) I'd be here way more often if those prices where lowered.

The ribs were tender and the sauce was okay. However, the greens were mediocre. The black eye peas were salty. We were disappointed with the high prices and the small amount of food which was a good thing since it wasn't that tasty. The candied yams weren't anything to write home about. I was let down because they advertised "Onion Rings," but didn't have them so they replaced them with the black eye peas for $6.00, the price of the Onion Rings. Thank God we had a great delivery man. It was our delivery man who called us to let us know they were out of the items we had ordered. The wait was about an hour from the time we ordered. They can kiss us goodbye as customers.
