• DoorDash orderThe food was so good they have a permanent customer! Everything was so well seasoned, the Smothered Pork Chops were fork tender, and felt like comfort for all of us, and they give good portion sizes! And the Fried Chicken!! First off it was a huge portion and when you bite into it, the crispy juicy flavorful chicken made us all smile! Thank you Nana Morrison's Soul Food for the best lunch ever!

• DoorDash orderBest fried chicken around. It's crispy without being greasy and full of flavor. The batter they use is amazing. Everything I have tried here is delicious and seasoned well. I've tried their collards, mac and cheese, fried chicken, and tilapia. All were great and flavorful.
The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. They offer specials throughout the week that I have on my list to try. I will be eating here a lot.

• DoorDash orderThe best!!!!! Real Soul Food!!! So we visited on Wednesday afternoon and the atmosphere and friendly service was amazing. We destroyed the food and never took pictures. 😂🤣 so tonight, Friday, my husband wanted a good dinner and was skeptical about ordering DD delivery. Thank God we did!!! The food was completely sealed and smoking hot! Every bite is seasoned so well. The portions are BIG, the catfish, Mac and cheese, ribs, curry rice, and fried chicken are so good. Prices are normal. You know cannot get food like this anywhere in PSL so enjoy the friendly service, fresh food and don’t forget to get the red koolaid because you need it.

Baked chicken (thigh and leg- both so good!) was amazing my first time, this time I got a breast too with my large plate and it was delicious, juicy and melt in your mouth inside but the outside and skin was overdone, the skin on the baked chicken is not crispy. The green beans are just like my MeMaw's but this second time ordering they were mush. Flavor is on point though! Mashed potatoes and gravy were so good I just wish there'd been more gravy. The BEST mac n cheese I've ever had from a restaurant ever. I am so glad I took a chance because I am hooked. Didn't care for the black eyed peas and they are my fave, I'm just used to them being cooked a bit more and with hamhock flavor. Im just spoiled on them I guess. I'll definitely order from here again. Oh and yes, their cornbread is sweet, it's still damn good. I love all cornbread! I recommend this place for sure.
