I have rediscovered my love for this place. These subs are delicious!! Their bread is so light & super fresh. 😋 If you are a sandwich person, you will love this place!! I've started ordering footlongs to get a 2nd meal out of my order! The BLT is my favorite. Thankful I work near here, but totally worth an out of the way drive. :)

Wow, these subs were truly amazing. First time trying Neptune after living here for years, and I feel like a total fool; these were the best subs I've had in a very long time. The wrapping was a little oily, but don't let that throw you off. The bread was somehow incredibly soft, substantial, AND not soggy. The sauces were beautifully balanced and flavorful. It's almost like they added some kind of special seasoning that made all of the flavors pop in a way that no other sub shop has achieved. If you add an additional topping, they definitely don't seem to skimp on it. And the cookies were incredible: sturdy enough to hold without crumbling or flopping over, soft and gooey without tasting underbaked, and deliciously flavorful. We loved both the snickerdoodle and the chocolate chip. I would consider it a hidden gem if you've never heard of it before, but if you've seen it and simply passed by, I urge you to give it a shot. Don't sleep on this place.

I was so disappointed with the old Italian sandwich I ordered. I've been on the lookout for a good Italian sub sandwich. After reading a few reviews and noticing the rating, I figured this had to be good. There was only one slice of each type of deli meat, and the thick cut of the cheese was as thick as the meat that was there. The cheese over took the flavors of the meats, leaving you wanting more.

Portion size is small for the cost - a whole sub is about the size of the prepackaged subs at 7/11. $4 for extra chicken on a sub that didn't have chicken on it originally - i opened up the sub and counted 5 pieces the size of my thumb. Flavor was pretty good and ingredients tasted fresh - no complaints there, just mind that you may need to order more if you plan on sharing with someone or are ordering for multiple people.

Neptune Subs are still the best in the city. We ordered a *NEW* Whole Ham & Cheese and a Half Old Italian. Both are exactly as we ordered them and absolutely delicious. Fresh and super tasty!
