• DoorDash reviewPristine, fresh sashimi! Okane Umi's owner makes sure every slice of sashimi is at the peak of freshness before it leaves the kitchen.
After being horrified by thin slivers of sticky, smelly sashimi from 7 other local places, from Torrance to San Pedro, we order ONLY from Okane Umi in Lomita for the last 5 years and at least 3 times a week. High quality plus generous portions are rare. Not here! And you get your money's worth. Salmon is my favorite. Love the octopus and yellowtail. Also, try the Galbi lunch or dinner! Yummy, tender, beautifully seasoned beef. Be sure to order the gorgeously fresh wasabi and click yes for 'condiments and utensils'.
