NORMANDIE: this sandwich is a really well braised in a sweet marinade. I like how they added some melted provolone that went so well with the scallions and radish. I also enjoyed the bits of mustard seed from the Mayo and the rich umami of the au jus (great beef sandwich)
OLYMPIC: such a unique chicken sandwich. What does it for me is the herd salad that give the sandwich a refreshing taste with the pickled red onions. All this with some super yummy marinated grilled chicken with amazing namjim/Serrano aioli so yum
MARIPOSA: vegan friendly and if you like mushrooms you might like this! Charred mushrooms with house pickled pineapples. It's such a great take on a meaty sandwich. Definitely worth a try!
BERENDO: they make they their own pate and smoke their own pork shoulder... so cool! It's also amazing. I could eat it al day!

I've tried a bunch of the sandwiches here. My favorite is the Hill Street, but make sure to double the slaw. The size on the pork chop can vary, but it can be quite big, which is really satisfying. But that makes it all a bit dry and means it needs more flavor so definitely double the slaw. FYI, they will do custom adjustments, just call them before completing your order on DoorDash.
As for other sandwiches, the Normandie and Olympic sandwiches are also great and definitely worth trying. Just wonderful flavor combinations. The Mariposa does exactly what they promise and tastes 100% like al pastor, but really it just made me want to get some al pastor tacos instead. Al pastor just is much more a taco thing than a sandwich and Open Market is too good at coming up with unique flavor blends to just get something that imitates what you can find everywhere. That said, they totally nail it so if you want a vegetarian al pastor sandwich, go for it! I don't recommend the Alhambra - just was bland. Go with the more flavorful options.

Just wow...I never thought I could ever get hyped up over a mushroom sandwich but here we are! 10/10 sandwiches. Chicken with chicken skin bacon is unreal, too.

Literally obsessed!! If you are looking for food to excite your palate. You have to try the food here. Ive tried both the Normandie and Olympic sandwiches. They both were very well crafted. I will order some different until Ive tried the whole menu.
