Muy rica la Carne Asada a la Parrilla Charbroiled Steak with Plantains. Buena porción de gallo pinto, carne y maduro. Realmente lo vale, es como sentirse en Managua!

I liked all the food that came in the container, it tasted good and fresh, with the right seasoning. But the "verdes" are actually sweeter than they should be, and at least in my country that's more similar to "maduro" than to "verdes", so I didn't love that. The portion, however, was okay, I don't eat much so I'll probably have 2 more dishes with this

Carne Asada was divine. Great seasoning and tender. Gallo pinto was traditionally made. The sweet plantains were at the perfect point of ripeness, and the Nicaragüan style cole slaw was on point! New go to for authentic Nicaraguan food. Will add to my roster of favorites!

The Chancho con Tajadas Maduras o Verdes y Queso Fried Pork with Plantains, Gallo Pinto was delicious. I was able to taste the marinade on the pork. Loved the rice and beans and especially liked the fried plantains. Loved the Cacao. Didn't have my nacatamale yet, will eat tomorrow, I had it before, I know it is good.

The delicious flavors of the Nacatamales Nicaraguan Style Tamales and Chicha de Maiz Corn Drink always bring me back to Managua, Nic. I'm not sure why it arrived already opened, but perhaps other consumers have trouble unwrapping it... in my opinion, I prefer to unwrap my own. Happy 2024!
