I wanted to check this place out because it's called Panjshir and that's the one area of Afghanistan that has always held out against the Taliban. Tough people. And I'm happy to report tough people make great food. Really enjoyed the Muntoo, Kadu Palow, and Baklava. Delicious!

Our Afghan go-to for decades. Still great. Our daughter loves the many vegetarian-friendly dishes (so do we) but all of their meat dishes (Try the Aushak entree) are fabulous.
