The cheese pizza? Actually, quite the surprise. A slice of satisfaction! The crust had that perfect bite, a lovely crisp edge that could almost make you forget the industrial tiling under your feet. And the cheese — rich, gooey, just the right balance of creamy and salty. I mean, it’s not exactly Naples, but it’s like the pizza really wants you to *believe* it could be.
And then, oh, the garlic sauce. This wasn’t just any garlic sauce; this was garlic sauce that leaned into its garlic-ness, unapologetically. The kind of sauce that boldly says, *"I belong with this pizza, and I am not subtle."* Pair it together, and you’ve got yourself a garlicky, savory masterpiece in a plastic cup.
Then, dessert. The chocolate chip cookie. Freshly warmed, with melty chocolate that made you pause. A sweet, chewy treasure that almost — almost — made you forget you were eating it off a plastic table under the fluorescent glare of a Valley Stream strip mall.
