I typically enjoy pizza from most chains, and I have fond memories of Papa John's from my time in Colorado. I decided to give it a try in Houston. I ordered a pepperoni, mushroom, and onion pizza. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
The crust was doughy and undercooked, and there was a noticeable lack of toppings. Overall, it was a lackluster pizza that fell short of my expectations. I thought it was difficult to mess up pizza, but this proved otherwise. I would avoid Papa John's Pizza in Houston after this experience. Never again.
