the butter chicken pieces were very off putting. barely any chicken either but it was inedible in my opinion. the sauce tasted sour and the naan was thin and burnt

The biryani was so dry. And the biryani had too many types of spices which didn't even make it better. The chicken pieces were too big. Try using cubed boneless pieces instead of pieces with bones.
(These suggestions are from my mom. The biryani was edible for me)
