• DoorDash orderParaiso Azteca is just so super duper lovely. Despite immense competition in Mexican fare, including literally across the street from an unnamed far newer vendor, Paraiso is a neighborhood institution which always delivers no matter core Mexican fare or newer fare like breakfast (a recent trend among Hispanic places) or American stalwarts (beefsteaks, sandwiches, etc. sort of bodega-like). Their core of Mexican fare is wholesome with ingredients visibly procured with local care as their kitchen is in the open.
I today got my faves, bistec tostadas which are always soft meat with perfect frying.
They've been a longtime (9y to my knowledge with many more per neighbors) stay of the community. It's initially known to most for being directly across from the B/Q Kings Hwy station CI-end exit at the B2/31 bus stop, but its customer's loyalty is from heartfelt cooking and staff alike.
