FOOD was great- chicken 3 whole Wings with Fries ; wings have a very pleasant crispiness to them! Not a lot of meat on them. They are skinny, check the pictures! Bourbon sauce was great. Fries were gross. Zero seasoning. I added salt and pepper. Honestly inedible. I dipped them in the bourbon sauce to finish them. Rice and beans were great! Barbecue baked chicken was fantastic. Incredibly well cooked! You could not handle this chicken without it falling apart! The sauce is mild, it's not hot or VERY flavorful. But, this is the safe approach and i wont judge them for it. Sweet Plantains as a side are expensive. $5 for six pieces(pictured). However, they were sweet/ripe and well cooked!
SERVICE was extremely slow and lacked any attention to detail- I was called by the driver to inquire on what sides i wanted. The DD app doesnt allow you to choose the entree without choosing both sides! The driver also pointed out they didn't start my order til she arrived to the restaurant and inquired on it. Driver also mentioned a 30+ minute wait is a regular experience here. For context: my order was scheduled by 8am and acknowledged by the restaurant by 3pm. My driver had not arrived til nearly 4pm. I see little excuse here. I want to give them a 3 star review. But, food is the priority here and they did that well.

I just wanted some fried fish with tasty sides, yall....but I swear they are holding somebody's Grandma in that kitchen! Everything was delicious!! The cook "put their entire foot" in this meal!! The Fried Fish Whitening was perfectly golden brown and flavored well. The yams were yummy and so was the Mac and cheese! And the portions were surprisingly plentiful!

if you havent eaten here yet then please do! i was very impressed by portion sizes and attention to detail 👌 👏 i ordered the catfish and let me tell you, it hit in every way my big back was singing to me and they even separated my sides with wax paper so catfish wouldnt be soggy

Best Jamaican food ive ever had by far. Amazing oxtails very tender great seasoning great Mac and cheese not overly cheesey. Oxtails are my favorite here. Candied yams extremely good and well prepared. Potato salad is pretty even between mayo/mustard proportions. Must have when in York

The plantains are amazing, the yams are great all super hot and fresh, the ribs look amazing and are tender and have a wonderful taste to them I recommend and def worth the price.
