I'd never had pho before today. I don't know what it's supposed to taste like, so I can't compare it to anything. I like that it came separated (broth in container, noodles, steak, and veggies in a bowl) so the meat didn't get cooked before it came to me. I was able to just pour the hot broth into the bowl and the steak cooked itself. I liked the PHO Filet Mignon #10 (R), but I was thrown off by the strong cinnamon aroma and flavor. I think, I would've enjoyed more without the cinnamon. The Fried Egg Rolls were really good, but would've been nice to have some sweet n sour sauce to dip them in. My favorite of the meal was the Banh Mi Beef #1. Plenty of steak on the sandwich and all the ingredients really complimented each other. I did, however, leave off the pickled carrots, so I don't know if that would've made it better or worse, but I enjoyed it how it was. The meal also came with a bag of bean sprouts, jalapenos, and, I think, spinach. I don't know what exactly it was for, but I added some sprouts to my pho and it seemed to work well with it. I did have to add lots of salt to the pho, though. I couldn't seem to add enough. The cinnamon may have just overpowered the saltiness, because I almost used half a shakers worth. Also, it was a very large bowl of soup, I don't think I even ate a quarter of the bowl. I have some leftover for later, but I devoured all of the Banh Mi Beef #1 and Fried Egg Rolls. In case you're wondering how many egg rolls are in an order, like I did, there are 4 but they are quite a bit smaller than your typical egg rolls that you get from other places. It's like the 4 is equal to 1 that you'd normally get.
