Living in Houston but being from Chicago, I was so thrilled to order from Portillos! They are so much better than Whataburger!

Really expensive and very mediocre. Everything was cold and not fresh. Italian beef sandwich was bland and not flavorful. Onion rings were flavorful but not fresh. Not worth the money

Im from Chicago so I was excited to order a Italian Beef Sandwich the flavor was lacking & it was not not enough meat on the sandwich I like mine exta dipped so I ordered extra gravy on the side & im glad that I did because it wasn't extra dipped as I had ordered. The cake was 10/10.

I want to love this place so much because the food that we do get is great...but dude- please take the time to go through the ticket to make sure everything is there. I think we have had 1 complete order out of the last 4 visits. If my husband wasn't from Chicago and always craving this place I would never order again.

The burger was way over cooked and dry. It tasted like burnt meat which is what it was. Im pretty sure they premade this burger and then put it back on the grill. Tastes like burnt meat because it is burned.
