This has place has just been added to my favorites. The first time I ordered from here. The pernil is great, very flavorful. The serving size is a little small. However, the rice and beans, FANTASTIC. DELICIOUS. Among the best I have ever had, quite possibly, the best. I was not planning on eating right now and only took a taste while it was hot. I could not stop eating it. I am a happy fat guy right now.

Pernil was cut up and was sitting on a puddle of grease in the styrofoam container. Tostones were tasteless and very chewy. Plantains were small and way tooooo soft.
Arroz con gandules was very yellow. Why?????
Can you put effort into the authentic cooking that you presumably stand for.

very inconsistent. 1st time food was good. white rice came with beans and it even came with 2 pcs of yellow plantain. perfect touch for the taste buds. 2nd time I ordered it came with no plantains, very small portion of rice and the beans was really slaty. 3rd time I order the same thing. this time it came with no beans and no plantains. mango juice looks and taste water down. you just don't know what youll get ordering from here. I hope this address this issue. very disappointing.

First time order here and I am pleasantly surprised. I ordered the ox tails but they ran out so the Stew beef was substituted. That is fine by me. The stew was REALLY to my liking. Nice sized portion too. The pork is good as well, just not as savory as the stew. So one for each type of preference.
