The Shrimp Buerre Blanc was very good. The Shrimp Creole was pretty bland. I was raised in and around New Orleans and this was the blandest creole I've had. Also it was cold.the mixed vegetables were were very good and hot. Figure that out. Did have a great menu so we'll try again.

Not impressed with the food thus far from here. We started with the Boudin Eggrolls for an appetizer. These eggrolls were really good, they had a slight heat on the backend and were full of the classic Louisana boudin flavor you would expect. We ordered the Smoked Gouda Bacon Burger and it came with a piece of lettuce, 1 tomato slice, and grilled onions, but lacked any bacon. The Smoked Gouda spread was nothing special and when everything was combined on the burger it was all bland. This is an extremely overpriced burger that we will not get again. The fries that came with it were undercooked, not salted, and also bland. We also ordered the Swiss Burger which came with only the patty, cheese, and mushrooms. The burger was bland, the ramble sauce, had a slight dill pickle taste and left you with a rancid sour aftertaste in your mouth. This was also an extremely overpriced burger. The fried okra as a side was good. Way overpriced burgers that were below average.

Ramble Creek always leaves us with dropped jaws and eating a lot more than we said we would. My husband, "best piece of meatloaf I've ever eaten!", and my first try of the Bourbon Pulled Pork Sandwich was pure heaven. Always the best meal ever. And we're so lucky they're 5 minutes from us!!

Holy moly is that some great meatloaf! Everything was great! Portions were healthy and quality was high. We will definitely go check out the actual restaurant. We had the pulled pork sandwich, meatloaf, steak medallions, dirty rice, greens, grits and have zero complaints.

Gumbo (C) was good. Very small portion for the cost. Definitely cup size. Didn't taste/see any shrimp or chicken. The Smoked Gouda Dip tasted good... but the focaccia bread did not. It was thick- like Pizza Hut pan pizza crust. The seasoning was right... but the bread itself was way too much. First time trying this restaurant. May try again.
