Love the freshness, consistency and authentic flavor of their dishes. This place is a family favorite and we've always been satisfied. Meals are large portions and we enjoy sharing and trying different dishes on the menu. Give them a try and you will not be dissappointed. Order ahead when possible as food is prepared when ordered which may take a few extra minutes but it's well worth the wait. The items selected are those we've tried on various visits... Enjoy!

I love Lakou! If like Haitian food or want to try this is the place. I got the Griot (Fried Pork) and it was delicious. The portions were generous, the pork was well seasoned and not dry, and the black rice was yummy. The food wasn't spicy but it came with pikliz to spice it up if you desire.

Bussin...taste like Broward! Griot & Pikliz got 2gether real bad. Meal was prepared with great attention to detail. Presentation of the food,was beautifully displayed upon opening the box. I definitely will be returning!

The griot was very tender! It was seasoned good too! I love the pikiliz and it was not too spicy! Having lived in South Florida for over 13 years, I missed eating Haitian food! This food made me happy!

Oxtails were a good size and sweet plantains was awesome I give the experience a 8/10 but 5 stars for sure-especially for Charlotte.
