I ordered the seafood gumbo, the seafood combo (fried), and rat toes, with 2 sides of hushpuppies and red beans and rice.
Being from south Louisiana, I almost never order gumbo from a restaurant. I make my own. And, truthfully, the times I've ordered it, when out, from a restaurant outside of my home State, I've been disappointed. While the gumbo I ordered, today, wasn't quite the same, I have to give it a thumbs up! Very tasty, and seasoned very well! Just don't expect it to be like a homemade seafood gumbo. It just doesn't have the seafood you might expect. But for a chilly day, it hit the spot, and I didn't spend HOURS making it!

I thought the fish was tasty and perfectly cooked. Not huge pieces of fish, but certainly not tiny, either. Shrimp and crawfish were great, as well. Honestly, I only tried a few bites of each, as I got full, after the gumbo.
Their hushpuppies are my very favorite!
Rat toes were DELICIOUS! I could only eat one.
I couldn't try the red beans and rice, as I was just too full. But I have enough good food for my next 3 meals!
They even remembered my drink!
To be honest, I'd ordered from them once before. While I loved the rat toes, was not a fan of their poboys. I'm really glad I gave them another chance! Arrived hot, well packaged (no leaks or spills), and delicious!
