Overall a good experience. CANAL STREET COMBO is a must should you want to try the Rat toes and boudin balls. JALAPEÑO CATFISH love it and it was cooked to perfection(3pcs). Could tell my food was MTO. ...Something new and really good. Cherry Mustard and Jalepeno cheese sauces something new and really good. I will try again. Can't wait to see what the hurricane Salmon and cajun fried steak is about. Do utensils come with order or is that a special request?

The food is really realy good. I ordered the fried shrimp & catfish combo and the ZYDECO PASTA. Both have excellent flavor and the fries are
really good too. The reason why I gave the rstaurant a three is the SHRIMP & CATFISH COMBO has very very small portions for the price. (2 thin strips of catfish and 4 shrimp). As much as I like the combo I will not order it again. It's not worth the price.

The blackened BLACKENED SHRIMP & GRITS were delicious! I was nervous at first that it would be too spicy for me, but it wasn't. The cheesy grits were sooo fluffy I thought it was a souffle. I will be getting this again!!!

All the food was fresh & dare I say better than the one in Concord? This is my favorite restaurant & I have been driving to Concord to eat at the only one on the east coast. I am so happy they came to Winston-Salem!!! The apps & food were cooked perfect, great flavor, & just all around delicious!

Food was cold by the time it got here. There was one random shrimp and one big cut onion stuck in the middle of the rice (which I'm allergic to). Plus, the sauce had another lid stuck INSIDE the sauce! To sum things up, I ate bc I basically paid for it. I was pretty disappointed.
