I heard the hype and I thought it was overblown because of the price. However, this place is top notch. The burgers are cooked well, the fries are fresh, and the Fried Shrimp 1/2 lb with Mild sauce well done. Will order again

Red Hot Ranch is the type of burger that makes you question all burgers you ever had before it. They use a local butcher for their made to order smash patties & slice a potato in front of you to make your fries. Doesn't hurt that it's less than $7 for a RHR double & fries either. Just make sure you get an extra side of their special sauce - dipping your fries in it is the cherry on top to one of the very best burger spots in the city.

Best value burger + fries in America (probably), but certainly in Chicago. Love getting a dinner from these guys every so often, and it never disappoints.
