Everything I've had from this place has been very good. It's not cheap, and the portion sizes are smaller than most of the other Italian places in MPLS, but the ingredients are always fresh and the flavor combinations are good. This was my first time trying the Rigatoni. Nice flavors, but it's supposed to contain lamb, and while the sauce tasted like it was cooked with lamb, I only found 2 tiny crumbles of lamb meat in it, making the high price point more frustrating. I did order late, so they might have just been at the bottom of the pot. Giving them 4 stars because this experience was an outlier.

For the price to portion ratio I was expecting much higher end food for the Michelin star sized portions we got. I wouldn't say this is any better than Olive Garden which is much cheaper. Also the garlic bread was burnt and the tiramisu tasted like black licorice, maybe the worst tiramisu I've ever had.

As always, Rinata never disappoints. The lemon ravioli were divine, light and fresh. Pizza was perfect. 10/10 neighborhood gem

Honestly this was really expensive. I ordered gluten free pizza, gluten free pasta and a salad. the pizza was dry like a cracker and barely had any toppings. Even the sauce was minimal. It was slightly burnt and the pasta was okay. not the upscale I was expecting for the price. I do not recommend for anyone.

The caponata pizza was delicious, very well balanced between salty, tangy and enough cheese to be satisfying without greasy and a crust that's just chewy enough to not get soggy and limp without being bready. The cannoli is good too, not a traditional ricotta but a smooth mascarpone with whole hazelnuts for garnish.
