WOW!! First time trying their food and let me tell you, IT'S DELICIOUS! I got Shrimp Rasta Pasta and Oxtail w/rice and peas. My son first time trying shrimp and fell in love with how they seasoned and cooked the shrimp AND the pasta too! A lady from their staff reached out tome to let me know that she had sold out of the curry goat which i appreciated but my oh my she was so pleasant and delightful to speak with. Very easy going and had a joyful spirit. It was just a great feeling talking to her so 5 stars for customer service and good communication. Another 5 for excellent, hot, flavorful food, quality and overall first time experience. Big up the chef and staff!

Rob’s Kitchen is a hidden gem in the Bronx. I ordered the oxtail pasta and it was absolutely delectable served hot, tender, and bursting with bold, rich flavor. You can taste the love in every bite. This spot is a must-try for serious food lovers.

Barely any corn beef in the corn beef and cabbage. Nowadays it seems like all people want to do is give you a large portion of rice or whatever starch and the tiniest bit of meat. Becoming a waste of money.

Jerk Chicken & Roti was okay... The chicken and roti came in separate containers. The jerk chicken was heavy on the all spice, which I didn't enjoy, but the jerk sauce was a good balance of sweet and spicy. The roti was piping hot when it arrived, which was a pleasant surprise until I realized it had been microwaved, because it started to get rock hard as it cooled.
I'll give this spot another try because I'm happy to have Jamaican food in the neighborhood, but I will get something different. Also, they canceled my cheesy beef patty after ordering, which I was most excited to try. Hopefully they'll have it next time.

the cornmeal porridge was brown not yellow and had way too much nutmeg overwhelming the taste, the Ackee & Saltfish was on point in flavor and seasoning .
honestly I would not order the Cornmeal porridge again. I actual think it was banana porridge.
