Food is good. Mac n 8oz. Mac & Cheese a little on the high side for so little. But it was tasty and I will order again. Rib & Chicken meat was tender and not over sauced. Delicious.

The fried chicken is seasoned perfectly and is delicious. The pulled pork sandwich is also tasty. The french fries are crispy and salted well. Also, I've gone in to pick up food and the service is top-notch. Overall, this is a great place and I would recommend it.

The food here is delicious and very fair portions . Inteied the ribs and links today they were yummy ( they run circles around the chain that everyone settles for in the bay people just go because its familiar and had been here for yesr but Rodericks got em beat ) , I like their style of potato salad it is very tasty , Ive had their yams and greens before both are good . Today was my first time truing thenpesch cobbler and i would buy it again . They have one of the best fish sandwiches and it made me try other things because of the good flavor

This was my first time ordering from Roderick's and was looking forward to experiencing my first meal. I was not disappointed. I ordered ahead: the 2 meat combo of links & beef with two sides: collard greens & yams. For dessert, I ordered the peach cobbler. The meat was seasoned well with just the right amount of sauce (I ordered "mild"), the portion size was more than I expected both for the sides and meat. So much more that I have enough for another meal. As of this writing, I have not had the peach cobbler but I'm sure that it will be great also. Needless to say, I will be back. Thank you Roderick's, I've finally found a bbq restaurant I can recommend to others. Stay blessed! A very satisfied customer.

I ordered the smoked chicken thighs, potato salad and yams. Thighs, tender and juicy. I usually like my sauce on the side, but didn't mind it. The sauce was great! Potato salad was different, but very good! I said very good! The yams? Exactly what I expected. So glad I ordered from here, and will be ordering again 5/5 🌟
