Wow what a delicious, healthy lunch option! I don't usually order takeout but I had a sad empty fridge on a very busy workday. I saw Rooster & Rice as a top option and am really glad I did!
I wish I ordered extra broth. It was such a comforting way to start the meal. The chicken is tender and all white meat (what I wanted but couldnt request). The dipping sauce is flavorful. Everything arrived warm. Will def order again!

Taste was good. But chicken thigh was very thin. And they skimp on the rice. Used to be go to spot.
Their other Thai restaurants that give you more bang for your buck.
Order at your own risk.
Ill order somewhere else next time

For some reason, DoorDash decided to choose the restaurant across town instead of the one down the street. I realized it was the wrong location 30 seconds after I ordered, but couldnt cancel without a $25 charge.
When I got the food, the portion size was so small compared to the one nearby. The broccoli was wilted, browning, and chewy. Very overcooked. The extra chicken container came half full.
I ordered 3 separate sauces, and they gave me two of the same sauce. This location is terrible and you should order from the one on 2nd St. or Kearny St. instead.

The quality of the ginger scallion sauce has fallen off a cliff. I have been ordering from here for a few years. The scallion sauce I had today was just vegetable oil and chicken with zero scallion. Maybe someone made it wrong today. Charging $3 for this is a bit absurd.

Terrible. There was more rice than chicken. I also asked for extra skin because that was an option they offered but I got less skin than usual if anything.
