This place rules. For a chain, they still punch above their weight. Moist Brisket is reliably consistent, flavorful, the crust is ON TIME. All their sides are great but the Green Chile Stew deserves special praise. It makes my scalp sweat, I am in my happy place with my nose in a bowl of that stuff.

Rudy's Moist Brisket is some of the best in the land, even down here in TX. I love the Green Chile Stew and it seems to be slept on; don't skip it! The Cream Corn is nice and dense and the pieces of corn are full, somehow magically extracted from the cob full-length intact and are never overcooked. I'd like to know how they do that...

$27 for this? 2 stars becausethe brisket was Moist Brisket and BBQ sauce. Everything else was meh. Portion size is crazy, $4 for 4 bite sides. If was priced differently for what you get....

I was impressed with how tasty the sides were. Barbeque spots usually have average sides, but this place obviously put some thought (and flavor!) into them. The potato was a good value for the money. My only issue is that they never cook the potato long enough. I prefer my baked potato creamy, not hard and chunky. The condiment portions of whole pickled jalapeños and carrots, along with fresh sliced onion pieces and plenty of extra barbeque sauce were generous and packaged well. Utensils were included, and they didn't forget to pack anything, which added to my overall sense of satisfaction. I would definitely order from Rudy's again.

The brisket Sandwich was delicious. It had the smoke ring and the bark was superb. The sauce in the white container is "the bomb". The Smoked Potato my son had that as usual it is so good. Potato Salad was good too
