Ordered Wontons in Chili Oil / 紅油抄手 and Sichuan Cold Noodles / 四川涼麵. I was worried about too much numbing from the sauces because I'm not that familiar with Sichuan cooking and which items do or do not include it, but still wanting the taste of chili oil and peanuts. I ordered these two dishes and they were absolutely delicious. I was sorry that I had hesitated so many times before. They are quite oily and spicy, but the flavors are so satisfying. I didn't experience much numbing sensation at all, so I'm guessing this had very little to none Sichuan pepper. Food arrived so hot and fresh. Even the rice was good quality - perhaps a Calrose or other good short grain. Highly recommend if you're local and looking for what you'd get in San Gabriel and other far away Sichuan spots!
