The food is fantastic! Best food I have eaten in a long time. I think Hammond has far too many Mexican restaurants. This is so much better. Don't hesitate to eat Sabor Catracho. Get the Pastelitos de Maíz con Carne and a Baleada Especial! They are the best items on the menu.

Yuca con Chicharrón was freshly cooked and very good. Tajaditas Fritas Especiales / Sweet Plantains were good, but note that the portion is much s than the photo. The drinks were very good.

always delicious from here. the toppings and dressings are separated from the rest of the food so it doesn't get soggy on the way which i really like. great portion sizes

Pastelitos de Maíz con Carne was very good. It was like a cross between a meat pie and an egg roll but closer to a meat pie. Tajaditas Fritas Especiales / Sweet Plantains were good too.

The Pastelitos de Maíz con Queso were amazing, so flavorful. And the Baleada Especial is my new favorite, also everyone needs to try the Horchata Grande. definitely going to order again!!
