Sakana means fish, and that is what we are famous for. We began in 1994 as a friendly neighborhood sushi bar known for fresh fish, generous portions, at a great price!
I really like this place, but if they are going to be on DoorDash-they need to make sure that the descriptions of the sushi rolls are correct. DoorDash described the New York Roll as shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado topped with crab meat, mayo and sriracha. Ive never had a New York roll before, but this sounded sooo good. When my order arrived I got a cold roll with shrimp, avocado and cucumber-nothing on top. It was plain and not what I was expected. It was perfectly fresh and edible, just not what I wanted. Im not really a shrimp fan unless it's hot or fried. Their customer service was good, but you might want to check their menu on the website instead of following DoorDash description.

Our family's favorite sushi!!! The purple rice is so much better than white rice, different and pretty too. Always fresh and high quality fish. We were so happy they joined Door Dash.

Quality rolls and nigiri. Great spot to grab blue fin toro nigiri or uni nigiri when they get some (order early before it sells out)

These are the best sushi rolls I have ever had in my life. Occasionally, they might forget an item. Thankfully doordash takes care of its customers. Its still frustrating, hence the 4 and not 5 stars. Otherwise, you should really give eat from here once.

generous portions of everything and everything done extremely well. a lot of the time I only really dig the fish in a poki bowl but every ingredient in the Sakana Poki shone deliciously
