Jungle Curry is a little spicy, but wonderfully made with many traditional ingredients. Coconut shrimp were fresh, and the cheesecake is always amazing! One of the best Thai spots in KC.

I recently revisited Sawasdee after trying it years ago and being very unimpressed. I was happy to find they've stepped things up since and I really love it! Pad kee mow is my go-to because I love how many vegetables are in it, and Sawasdee's pkm has heaps of flavor. Noodles were still piping hot when this was delivered. Word of caution: their medium is closer to what I would personally consider HOT. I've been ordering medium from various other Thai places around the area for the past 4 years and Sawasdee's medium is HELLA spicy! It seems a huge jump from mild with absolutely no spice, to this. I'm having to eat very slowly because it's a little beyond the top of my tolerance. I'm trying to be a trooper and push through it, but next time I'll simply order mild and add the flakies on my own terms at home. On the bright side, my lips look great because they're burning?? 😅

It was good! The crab Spicy Thai rangoon (4pc) is super spicy, so beware! I can normally handle spice, but this was beyond just a hint. Super good though! 7/10.
