Raw meaty bones are edible bone covered in raw muscle meat and connective tissues. Bones are essential in a raw diet to provide necessary calcium and other nutrients which play a vital role in your pet's overall health, but it is important to only feed raw meaty bones safe for consumption - never feed cooked bones! All SFRAW Grinds & Formulas include adequate calcium for a proper ca:ph ratio through the addition of ground raw bone, but your pet may also enjoy up to 30% supplemental raw meaty bones in their menu plan for mental stimulation, dental cleaning, behavioral benefits/enrichment, maintaining a fit, healthy gut, and firm stools without causing nutritional imbalances when it comes to their ca:ph needs.
