Saag Paneer is always one of my fave staples and Shaan did not disappoint! In addition to my go-to, I decided to try out some new items too. The Malai Kofta was phenomenal, such a cozy meal! The vegetable balls in it were a great medium firm texture, a bit crumbly if you cut into it, and I think potato and cheese based. The sauce was smooth and creamy and just a touch tangy, perfect to go with naan or your choice of bread. This time I decided to go for the upgrade Chef-Naan and was not disappointed. It was huge, like literally one half was bigger than my head, and was worth the extra money! It was very balanced and filling on its own. All of the portions are huge and I will be having the best leftovers for days 😋

Favorite Indian place in Cincinnati so far. Everything was juicy and deliciously seasoned. Samosas Crisp and well fried with really tasty meat, ghe chicken was moist and tender, perfect amount of flavor and the lamb tasted like a home cooked stew. Would order again

Pros are: appreciated the labeling of entrees, good packaging, arrived hot for the distance, and generous portions.
We ordered 9 items. We liked the Saag Mushroom, Malai Kofta, Garlic Naan. The Kadai Lamb however, could have had more lamb flavor and tenderness.
Cons: would not order the following again: Chicken Tandoori as it was overcooked/dry, raita was inedible,a really off taste, tomatoe soup was too sweet with soggy, soggy bread in the soup. Poori was much too greasy and the Keema Naan bread had tasteless meat inside. Overall, would hesitate to order from here again, as too many of our favorites were off taste wise compared to the competiton over in Pleasant Ridge which is still our go to for delicious Indian cuisine.

The Kadai Chicken was mildest Indian food I have ever tasted! You don't get any spice level to the food and it's just not bursting with that aromatic strong flavor. It was mediocre at best. The Onion Naan was top notch! It carried the meal instead of accenting it.

Chicken Tikka Masala was overly tomato, Paneer Pakora was a little too dry but spice on it was a good flavor, Bhatura was too dry, garlic Garlic Naan was undercooked. I had higher hopes since it was given high stars and looked yummy but maybe today was just an off day.
