I have to say that I've never had Shipley's choice before but I was very pleasantly surprised to find it was really good.

The Filled Bar was super dry but the Filled Donuts (Each) were amazing, I didn't like the chocolate cream because it was like chocolate frosting but the rest were 100%

The jalapeño, sausage & cheese kolaches are so good. My puppy is sulking bc I won't share with him (aside from me being greedy, he doesn't understand what jalapeño will do to his stomach). More for me!

Shipley's is the best donut spot in Houston, in Texas, and it's a shame if they don't have them in the rest of the country (but I'm cool with not sharing anyway). Just the plain glazed donut illustrates their superiority, not to mention the kolaches.
