Hands down the absolte best fish and chips I have had in Texas!! Even delivered, it stays dreh and crispy. Really really amazing. They need to give more of their delicious homemade tartar sauce though with such a big portion! And the manager Ashley is so incredibly awesome and helpful whenever I calland need something!!!

Have loved anything we've ordered from Shoal Creek Tavern so far. The pot Texas Pot Roast was amazing! not fatty like many other places, full of flavor and a generous portion. Their bacon green beans are fantastic! Fresh beans and real bacon. I also ordered the Garlic Mashed Potatoes because they are amazing! The Salted Butterscotch Creme Brule is probably better in the restaurant. It doesn't keep well for delivery.

Clearly the restaurant isnt keeping their DoorDash menu up-to-date with their dine in menu because tonights dinner was mostly a fail.
First, the positives. My filet and salmon entree was delicious. That ends the positives.
My wife ordered the Soup De Jour which was listed as Tomato Basil soup with a Grilled Cheese. My wife loves these and was excited. What was delivered was Torilla soup (and no grilled cheese). She said the soup was ok, but clearly disappointed.
I also ordered the Salted Butterscotch Creme Brûlée, which didn't have a description, but did have a photo of a simple creme brûlée with some strawberries on the side and a swirl of chocolate on the plate. What was delivered was a) smashed up b) covered in random berries and c) drowned in raspberry sauce. So, I dislike the berries, but they can be removed. However, I hate raspberry anything, so my $9 dessert went in the trash.
DoorDash only offered $3 comp for the failures, but we called the restaurant and let them know about the discrepancies. They didn't offer to do anything aside from work with DoorDash to update their menu. Oh well

I ordered prime short rib, and instead got pot roast with dry edges. I ordered it medium, and it was very well done. I was pretty disappointed by that.
Everything else was fine and normally orders are good
The chicken fried ribeye was probably my favorite chicken fried steak of anywhere in the last couple of years.
