About our Restaurant We are a 1950's style diner serving all-day breakfast, burgers, and sandwiches, located in Richmond, VA. It's not fancy, it's not fat free, it's just the way it used to be!!
We are in a quarantine situation this week so DoorDash has been our saving grace for meals. Yesterday we ordered from a different diner and were disappointed at the amount of grease covering the food. Shorty's was perfect! Loved the ham & cheese HAM & CHEESE OMELET and the VEGETABLE OMELET. Might be our first time ordering from Shorty's but it won't be our last.

Wasn't a fan. There was a very small serving of corned beef hash, the crispy bacon I requested was very soft, and the biscuit was doughy. This isn't the first time that their food has disappointed, but it's the last.

The BISCUIT SIDE was pretty big for a biscuit. I expected 4 to be just enough for a hearty breakfast, topped with some SIDE GRAVY and wham, easy, but they were too big to finish no bev. Heads up... these biscuits are BIG, YO.

Ordered some breakfast from Shorty's for the first time and here's my take... the BISCUIT SIDE was great, SIDE BACON was also great, SINGLE FRENCH TOAST was fairly good, but the HASH BROWNS were inedible and sawgy

I ordered the BYO OMELET with cheese and "crispy" bacon. I have yet to find crispy bacon anywhere in this city. When you offer "crispy" bacon you should know how to prepare it as such. Once I removed it I was left with an omelet that had no fluff and barely any cheese.
