Our favorite place ever. The spicy potatoes are insanely delicious and the chicken is always so flavorful! Love that the edges get crispy! Everything is perfect.

Skafs used to be The Bomb! Hands down WAS the best in all of So Cal but they have significantly reduced the amount of chicken they give you on their chicken plate. There give you about 1/3 of what they used to and its not alot.
Now, it's mostly just a handful of chicken and the rest of the plate/to go box is stuffed with rice, veggies and hummus.
I'd also like to note that the last time we ordered Skafs, the rice was lumpy and mushy. It didn't look like Basmati at all. It looked like 10 min white rice that you boil in a bag, all mushy and clumped together. The rice grains were not thin Basmati, they were shorter and thicker. It was flavorless. It was not Basmati. It was not Jasmine. It was original, traditional white rice.
At this point, after being a happy SKAFS customer for over 15 years, I have to say that I unfortunately will never be going back.
With the chicken amount being cut to so little, the mushy rice incident and their raising of the price it's just not worth what they're charging vs. what you get.
I'd like to note that I called Skafs about the rice and he said that he always uses Basmati, he has never changed the rice and he has no idea what I'm talking about because the rice looks fine to him.
He did offer me free rice if I came back but I ask you..... why would I want more of what I'm complaining about?
Sorry Skafs. We won't be back.

Most amazing kebabs! Everything - beef, chicken, kofti, and lamb - was cooked perfectly and so good!! Get the 9. Combo Grill Entrée to try three of them out for yourself. But just know they're all delicious.

The 7. Chicken Shawarma Entrée was dry and had little to no flavor but the portions were plentiful. The Lemonade was overdone with sugar but watering it down made it a tad better... maybe I'll try this place again since it was my first time.

We order here ALL the time. We love the food.
Unfortunately, the last couple of times, our salads were much smaller than normal and they cut way back on the pita that comes with orders. I understand that food costs have increased. I'm happy to pay more to maintain the quality and quantity of food that we have grown to expect.
The food here is always good!
