Pizza completes me. It's near impossible to beat a New York City pizza, and I'm here to tell you that it IS the water. Personally, the chew and the crunch of a crust is everything. A pepperoni pizza speaks volumes. I haven't had a NYC pizza since being in New York! I've been looking for you, glad I found you. The DIY New York Pizza pepperoni gives me all the feels. I love mixing chopped Calabrian chili to your Housemade Ranch to drizzle on each slice. SO GOOD.

Loved it! Been searching for great pizza on DD in SJ for way too long. This is by far the best. Loaded with tasty toppings and the perfect crunch to the edges of the crust! I wanted to order it again the next day. The mini is large enough for 2. A bit pricey but no complaints on the quality.

20" The Pep (New York) was large enough for three of us with a few slices leftover. The flavor profile of the toppings were bold with depth of flavor! The Housemade Ranch is a must for those like me who are hooked on that combo.

To pick up this pie was a stunning revelation, it would have set off my car seat - use a seatbelt indicator. ie the pie was Heavy! Then I open the box. The work of art inside delivered on incredible, robust flavor, toppings and tasted delicious!

I'm not typically the type to leave reviews but this one needed it.
Call me weird but $70 (Inc. tip & Dash Pass delivery) for a pizza seems a bit steep..?Unless.....
I grew up 90 min from Detroit & REALLY appreciate a great Detroit style pizza. I'd say it's a toss, depending on my craving, between Detroit, Chicago & NewYork for my absolute favorite. Detroit, Chicago & New York have been decently represented out here, I mean theres no Michigan & Trumbull, Gino's East or good old Sal & Carmine's but we're fortunate to have some pretty good options.
Now for my thoughts on SOH...
I've looked over their menu & maybe just slightly drooled over the pictures quite a few times but just couldn't get myself to pay what I felt to be a red line for a pizza, no offense SOH🙏. Yesterday was an extra good day so I figured WTH , I'll treat myself & FINALLY pull the trigger... & now I'm ruined forever & in my mind will compare all other pizzas in CA & most other places to SOH.
I went with the Red Head + Calabrese Peppers & extra sauce, keeping it simple with a touch of spice &.... WHO Are You People??!!!
From the second I opened the box it was over. I consciously fought to take that picture, your'e welcome. I had to do the whole finger in the peanut butter jar to the sauce & I will say it's prbably the best sauce I've ever tasted on a pizza. Seriously.
The cheese blend has a depth & flavor that deserves slow chewing, with your tongue melting it into the top of your mouth. The pepperoni combination paired with the PERFECTLY crisp outside, yet warm, bread like middle of the crust.
The first piece didnt make it to my plate - direct from box to mouth & I found my eyes closed, foot tapping, hips moving a little, head side to side & I couldn't stop smiling if I wanted to. 🫰🏼
It's not often I have to force myself to slow down when eating because I'm overwhelmed with joy & a rare, very appreciated level of satisfaction. The only way this pizza gets any better is if it's eaten fresh out of the oven, which will most like be happening sometime soon.
