This was the BEST food we've had in nearly 20 years (since my grammaw passed away - she was the most amazing cook - But aren't they all? )
I am so happy to have finally found someone in my area that knows how to cook!
Tonight - We tried it all!
Catfish, whitefish, bbq pork, bbq ribs, bbq chicken, corn nuggets, fried mushrooms, hush puppies, corn on the cob, baked beans (literally drooling over those beans), potato salad, black eyed peas, coleslaw, garlic bread, and baked potatoes!
We co uldn't believe how delicious each bite was!
How does food taste this good??
Also, I want to give the restaurant owner a huge thank you for allowing your customers to communicate / make special requests via the DoorDash app. Most restaurants do not give us the option so thank you again. My fish sandwich wouldn't have been so yummy without all the fixens '.
The bbq sauce completely blows Sweet Baby Ray's out of the water
The tartar sauce, however needs to be homemade like everything else, it makes a huge difference and is so easy to make.
We asked our kiddos what else they would also try from your restaurant and they said "mac n cheese, clam chowder, pinto beans, collard greens, green beans, and sweet cornbread" lol!!
It would be the best in town, I'm sure!
My son is autistic and rarely eats anything other than hamburgers or fried chicken.
Not tonight though! He ate everything!
