THE TEXAN - BRISKET SANDWICH was horrible. It tasted like lighter fluid and had huge areas of unrendered fat.
The fries were good as was the MAC N CHEESE, but the mac was tiny for the price. HONEY BUTTER CORNBREAD was dry. SALTED CARMEL BROWNIE was great. It had a unique crunchy crust that was oatlike and the chocolate brownie part was soft.

Th smoked wings and 2-meat combo were fantastic. The wings are perfectly crispy and the sauces only serve to elevate the flavors. The smoked meat nachos were quite disappointing as the meat was scanty and the taste of cheese sauce was overpowering. Definitely would skip them next time.

Food is okay if you want baked meat with liquid smoke added.Meat was tender, but tasted oven baked. I eat plenty of barbecue, and this does not taste smoked or grilled. Don't call yourself a barbecue joint if it's not going to really be authentic barbecue. By far, Ashley's barbecue hands down is 100% better tasting than this place! potato salad was bland, needed a little mustard, onions and a pinch of sugar, baked beans were good.

Everything was good. Our SMOKED PORK SHOULDER, 12 HOUR SMOKED BRISKET and JUMBO CHICKEN WINGS were all great. The tiny side of sauce they came with was laughable. We were also shocked that our two orders of HONEY BUTTER CORNBREAD was 2 muffins and our POTATO SALAD was the size of a sauce container, the Mac and cheese was no larger a than a small deli container, we got it expecting to feed a few kids it didn't make it very far. So overall good food just strange sizing?
