Sol de Mexico Restaurant is a nice place to order Mexican food for home delivery by DoorDash. They offer all of the Mexican food staples to which you've grown accustomed, and the have a few other dishes, some that include steak and shrimp, as well. It's an upgrade from the Mexican dishes that you can pick up at your chain fast food drive-thru.
The whole quesadilla made in a flour tortilla with shredded steak or chicken to which you can add rice and beans, sour cream, and guacamole is a complete meal that is tasty and would satisfy any average person's appetite.
The 2 chimichangas come with beans, guacamole, sour cream, and chopped tomatoes, and you can add rice to it for an extra $3.00. It, too, is very satisfying and tasty.
There's nothing fancy here, just good food prepared the way you like it.

Sol de Mexico offers a large variety of Mexican food staples. The chicken quesadillas are prepared in large portions, so they alone can more than satisfy you appetite. The fried chimichangas are somewhat smaller than the quesadillas, bu they're also very satisfying. Then when you include refried beans and rice with your dinner, you easily reach sotiety. The beef tacos were a nice extra, but we'll have to save them for tomorrow's lunch. The Mexican Lava Cake with ice cream is served in a single container, so I put it all in the freezer, and I'll heat up the cake tomorrow and serve it with the ice cream.
Overall, the food is very good, and the waiting time for delivery of the order is not very long at all.

Fajitas Del Mar are VERY overpriced. The order was missing corn and flour tortillas, and we received something instead of 2 orders of Rice & Beans. Grilled Chicken Quesadillas was dry. Mexican Bowl was very small. The only thing good was the Queso Birria Tacos. The consume was delicious.

Sol de Mexico is one of the newest Mexican restaurants in the Raynham - Taunton area. It occupies the building where the Olive Garden used to be. They serve a large array of popular Mexican dishes, plus they offer some of their own special dinners including steak and seafood.
The Tex-Mex burrito has everything that I could possibly want in a burrito including ground beef.
The whole quesadilla appetizer becomes a full meal when you order it with rice and beans. And of course all of the great condiments like pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole are available too so that you can complete your Mexican feast just the way you like it. The restaurant also offers a limited selection of fine desserts as well.

easily the most delicious and flavorful Queso Birria Tacos in the entire area. the meat was so tender and fresh, the cilantro was soooo fresh. usually non-latino consommé makes me tired bc non-latino put yoo much oil, but this was just right. add in the slices of lime they give you and it tastes just like my tia made it. the rice was soft and fluffy, like it'd been washed. very good Rice. 10/10 would recommend <3
