Chicken Franchaise was excellent. Very large portions and lemon sauce on top was fantastic. I love everything I get from this place. 5 stars 🌟 every time! side salad had every vegetable in it. Very good food!

This taco salad was a lot more than I thought it would be The amazing homemade shell was huge, it was by far the best one I've ever had. There was a few cheeses peppers onions lettuce tomatoes cucumbers beef and a delicious rice. I was very surprised at the size of it, it would feed a few.

The restaurant gave us way more soup than we'd expected -- plus threw in four Portuguese rolls and butter. The Caldo Verde and chicken noodle soup were delicious!

Definitely disappointed today. This is our favorite restaurant normally. We received our order that was nice and hot, but we only got two flat wings and the rest were drumettes. The sauce that we received for our wings was some sort of a gelatinous gravy. It wasn't the normal wing sauce at all. It was terribly salty and couldn't even be used for the Chicken Wings. In addition, the shrimp was overcooked, and the sauce wasn't the normal sauce. It was very very salty. We asked for four pieces of Portuguese bread, which they normally give us readily, but we only received three that we definitely appreciated none the less. The bread was actually the highlight of the meal. Hopefully this wasn't just because we ordered through DoorDash. We go there on a regular basis and they know our names. We have ordered multiple times through DoorDash and have never had a problem. Maybe there is something wrong today at the establishment.

This is the best restaurant hands-down. We love going there for the atmosphere, but when we cannot be there, their takeout is just as amazing! Paul and his staff are awesome people and always make sure you have everything you want and need. If you haven't been to Solmar, it's a must!
