We really like Sora usually. But today we could really see the effect that inflation is having on the quality and taste. It's unfortunate but the sashimi salmon was practically transparent, the tempura batter was gummy and the creamy scallop wasnt very creamy and the scallop pieces were minuscule and fishy . It's too bad.

I wanted something simple today and I was not disappointed! I got some California rolls, tamagotchi nigiri and mixed tempura appetizers and they were very good! The California rolls, were perfectly portioned, not too much rice or too much avocado/cucumber and had a good flavor mix of the Krab mix. The tempura was still hot when it got to my house and the dipping sauce was balanced and not too salty. I'll always live a good tamago and they make it just sweet enough. Overall, very good for delivery time and price in Bend.

On menu, can you please mention that sake portion is 2 pieces - it absolutely melted in my mouth and I should have ordered MORE! lol Also, the delicious chocolate cheesecake should be listed as chocolate *chip* cheesecake, just so I know what to mouth-wateringly anticipate. It was all delightful. I think there were water chestnuts or something similar in the gyoza? Gave it a perfect little crunch! The sesame balls were amazing, the dough was so good!

I ordered a $20 noodle soup and received a bland, under seasoned broth with tons of what looked like burnt charcoal bits in it. Very off putting to bite into a gritty, sand like texture. My first time ordering from this restaurant. For the price, I expected way more.

We ordered sushi rolls Golden California Roll (8) , Alaska Roll (8) and Gyoza (8) . Everything was so delicious, delivered quickly, and included chopsticks and napkins. So thoughtful to send those because some places don't, and I always seem to forget to ask!
