First time trying this restaurant; it was excellent! Soul Café Creole Gumbo Bowl was a large portion with plenty of meat and a rich, thick roux. Collard Greens were tasty, as was the sweet corn bread that came along with my order. I am not always a fan of vinegar forward potato salad, but the Creole Potatoe Salad was nicely balanced and I would get it again.

I had the Catfish Po'boy Lunch and it was even better than I expected. It's a good deal as you get 2 sides, a dessert and a drink. I went with the fries, gumbo and the bread pudding was the only choice for dessert. I'm not a fan of bread pudding, but I really liked theirs. The po'boy was really good - the catfish was perfect! The only downside was my drink was missing, but DD did me right.

the flavor of the Crawfish Etouffee Dinner is good. but the value is low. rice and sauce and 6 Crawfish tails for $25 not great. also it was not fresh as in its been in a hot prep area and dried out.

The food is delicious, but the price-to-portion ratio is simply outrageous. For the amount of money I spent, I would have expected larger portions. The food itself is not the issue; it’s just the portion sizes.

Absolutely Delicious!!! Ive been wanting to try this place out since they opened and i should've jumped on it sooner. I got the lunch special and soooo worth it from taste down to the portion sizes. amazing!! don't hesitate, order from here!!
