The very best home cooking in the area. I will always order from Soul Kitchen. Green beans were seasoned perfect and pork chops fried just right. Thank you cooks!

The food arrived hot, plentiful and well-seasoned. The Smothered Porkchops and fried chicken meals were excellent. We did not like the Banana Pudding at all. It tasted like gelled egg whites. Overall, great food. The best we've had in Concord.

when I saw the name of the restaurant and the pictures of the food, I was like Maaaan that looks like it would be sooo good...well i got paid at 7pm last night and already had half my order sitting in the cart LOL good thing too because I only had 14 more minutes to order lol. when i say that food was BANGIN' .....wow wow wow wow Soul Kitchen is right. . you can tell they put their heart and soul into that food!! and that peanut Peanut butter Pie OMG BEST PIE IVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE I want to buy a whole pan of it please...and they give you a VERY generous slice. all of the food was absolutely amazing and was still hot when it arrived which I didn't think it would be since the drive was a little ways away (BIG PROPS TO MY DRIVER TOO!!) 10 out of 10 recommend this place and please for the love of God if you love peanut butter and or chocolate. ...you gotta try the pie!!! Banana Pudding was AMAZING TOO. all of it tasted like mama's or grandma's homecooking OMG

All I can say is WOW. I don't normally leave reviews because nothing has ever stuck out to me. When I ordered, it said it would take an hour to get here. It did, and I was expecting my food to be cold and soggy. I was pleasantly mistaken!! I ordered the 2 Thigh, 1 Leg & 2 Sides, the chicken came wrapped in tin foil. (They know what they're doing!) I also ordered the Green Beans and Banana Pudding and they were both a hit!! The green beans were in a plastic container and still came hot, and the Banana Pudding was still somehow cold. My partner got the Peach Lemonade and really liked it, but we had to add a little more lemonade that we had at home because the peach was a little strong. All in all, I give this place an 11/10, and will definitely be giving them more of my money in the future!! (Please excuse the lack of pictures as it was devoured before I could even pull my phone out)

This is the type of soul food that I've been looking for! There are some secret family recipes in this kitchen for sure. I had the smothered pork chops, cabbage, candied yams, and corn bread. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The kind of flavor that makes you want to eat slow and take your time. Cornbread was light and fluffy, delicious. Food arrived on time, warm. Will definitely frequent this spot. Kids had the chicken tenders and mac and cheese. Both were excellent. I know because I sampled theirs too ;) Soul Kitchen is doing something right!
