Wow! Ive eaten here 2 days in a row and havent been let down yet!! Yesterday I got the oxtails and they were wonderful. Today I was craving porkchops but was concerned that there would only be one. Well I can tell you that the one porkchop is huge. Definitely enough to fill me up. Fried to perfection, tastes delicious and the side (mac in cheese and greenbeans) are also exceptional. Glad I ended up ordering from this resturant again.

The food was decent outside of our greens being lukewarm. We ordered Southern Fried Pork Chop Dinner, Braised Oxtails, Crispy Fried Chicken Dinner, and Smothered Turkey Necks. My oxtails had way too much fat & the gravy over the rice was oily/thin. The restaurant is 12 minutes from my home but due to the store itself, our order of 5 plates were delivered 1.5 hours later though it was closing time right before the order was made. They ran out of yams and subbed so it doesnt seem like anything was made fresh, which isn't a problem but doesnt explain the long delivery time. I've Dashed there as well and have the seen the huge space being used with a lack of timely organization w/ who works there. Maybe we'll try once more but the food was too expensive for the slowness.

Eveything was so good! The Meatloaf was seasoned well and the portion size was HUGE. It came on a bed of rice. The Collard Greens and Smothered Cabbage was seasoned well. The yams were good as well and the perfect texture not mushy. The Mac was a bit chalky but still good. The Peach Cobbler was a little too sweet for me. The Banana Pudding is definitely a must try I enjoyed every bit of it. It's def worth the price and the portions are big. The meal came with cornbread and it was warm. The Flavored Lemonade is sooo sooo good liquid crack in a bottle lol. I enjoyed every bit of this meal. I just had surgery and their food made me feel so much better.

The best meat loaf ever!! Great portions! Everything was seasoned to perfection, mash potatoes, cabbage, meat loaf, cornbread, and rice.
The banana pudding was good but not as exciting as the meal, cookies were soft and I prefer bananas in my banana pudding.

The food was excellent, excellent, excellent! The oxtails were seasoned just right, tender and delicious with rice and the juice from the oxtails providing extra flavor. The candied yams were perfectly sweetened, not too much and not too little. The turkey wings were tender with the meat nicely seasoned as well. Great place to get some soul food. This was my first time ever eating from this restaurant, so this was a wonderful surprise.
