• DoorDash orderThe Orange Chicken comes fried with the sauce on the side, so you get to pour your fresh sauce over the the crispy chicken. It was pretty good in flavor. I was personally looking for something more impactful, possibly with more veggies or spices? In terms of spicy, the level is low risk. I don't think any twill burn their taste buds on this, but the heat it does have helps the flavor linger.
The Chow Mein was chicken and I made a rather particular request. I wanted the chicken flavored chow Mein without the chicken (meat) pieces. They delivered! I was super stoked to see they went above and beyond for that. I was again looking for something more impactful with veggies and more flavors, but I am looking for something that tastes like California Bay Area Chinese. I also said "(NOT VEGGIE CHOW MEIN)" in the special instructions which chould have been taken as to not add any.
Although, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, the flavors were smooth and easy to enjoy while having a conversation. The Orange Chicken sauce feel authentic. I'm used to a very sticky sweet orange chicken flavor, where this one is spiced and thin with clear hits of orange peel. The Chow Mein was soy sauce forward which could be from my choice to omit the chicken pieces. The portions were pretty good and I found myself wolfing it down reguardless of it not being exactly what I was craving!

• DoorDash orderfood is really good! i would recommend the store add a "Make it vegetarian" button on the site so it is less confusing when placing an order.
i ordered vegetarian mapo tofu, string beans and shredded potatoes. overall, pretty good, and would recommend mapo tofu and beans to others as well

• DoorDash orderThe flavor was good, but the online description says that it comes with steamed rice, soup, and tea. When I got back to work and opened the bag, there was only the chicken and the sauce. If it doesn't come with those things when you order online, it shouldn't be part of the description. For almost $20 before tax and tip, it's pretty disappointing that you only get the chicken and not everything advertised.
